Where is the school located?

We are located at 4477 Irving, Suite B. Albuquerque, NM 87114.  We are located on the West side of Albuquerque but we are also near the next town called “Rio Rancho.”  We are only about 5 minutes away from the Cottonwood Mall (Albuquerque) and about 8 minutes away from Intel (Rio Rancho).

What hotels are located near the school?

The following hotels are located near the school:
Hilton Garden Inn (Rio Rancho)
Extended Stay Abuquerque on Rio Rancho Blvd
Chocolate Turtle Bed and Breakfast
The Inn at Paradise
To see additional hotels nearby, see: More Hotels Near Cottonwood Mall.

ONE MORE OPTION: You can stay at a house in Albuquerque using the website Air BandB here.

Can I stay with a family?

Yes, but you need to make your own arrangements.  We recommend a fantastic website called airbnd.com where you can select your own place and you can ask your guests if they speak Spanish (many do).

Do I need to rent a car? Can I walk to the school if I stay near by?

It is better to rent a car. There is no public transportation that goes all the way to the school. In order to get to our school you have to go down a road where the bus doesn’t go. It will probably take you about 15-20 minutes walking distance from a bus stop. Most of our students rent a car but some also use a taxi service. If using a taxi, you need to call them in advance to arrange for pick up. There is a cab company that a few of our students have used. Here is their website: http://www.rioranchocab.com/

ONE MORE OPTION:  You can  use UBER and find  a ride, click here

Do you have any recommendations for what to do in Albuquerque?

Yes.  There are plenty of things to do in town. We have put together our own list of recommended places, see our What to do in ABQ section at the bottom of this page.

Will I take the classes by myself or in a group?

If you signed up to take one-one-one classes you will do so.  You can also take the classes in a small group setting or a combination of group and private classes.  You choose what is best for you.

Will I always have the same teacher?

No, you will have the opportunity to learn from different teachers.  All of us are experienced teachers with many years of experience teaching adults. You will have the chance to listen to different accents and learn from different cultures from Central and South America.

Will you hold the weekly immersion class even if I’m the only student who signs up?

Yes. When you sign up for “create your own”  immersion classes we will hold the class no matter how many students we have.
