Asistir: Not to assist but “to attend”, “to be present at”
Carpeta: Not carpet! But a folder or a file
Embarazada: Not embarrassed! But Pregant!
Excitado(a) : Not excited! but “aroused”, for “excited” use: emocionado(a)
Intoxicado: Not intoxicated! but “poisoned”.. for intoxicated use: “ebrio” or “borracho”
Soportar: Not to support! But “to put up with” or “to endure.” For “to support” use: “apoyar” (te apoyo, I support you, I am behind you) or “mantener” (to support monetarily like “to support” a family)
