Intermediate Fast Track

The “Fast Track” classes are 30 hours total and meet twice/week. We call it “Fast Track” because you will advance faster since you are devoting more time to your goal of learning Spanish. This class is designed for those who have already taken “Beginner 2, Fast Track” (see explanation of levels) or know the equivalent of what students at that level already know. The Intermediate, Fast Track covers the information of Beginner 2C and first level of Intermediate.
During the first four weeks of this class you will learn radical changing verbs, past participles, impersonal verbs, deber and debería, review of the command forms, and practice with the use of imperfect tense, and the present perfect. You will have the opportunity to practice conversation with other students at the same level.
During the last four weeks of this class we will cover the present subjunctive, the subjunctive with verbs of emotion, doubt, disbelief and denial and with conjunctions, past participles used as adjectives, the present perfect and the past perfect, The conversation will be centered in mainly two topics: Reinforcing grammar you already know, and general conversation. After this class you should stay at the Intermediate level for 2 more sessions (16 weeks) and then you can will be ready to move to advanced.
