REFUNDS/WITHDRAWALS FOR GROUP CLASES: (for private classes scroll down)
Due to our commitment to instructors, materials and other students, the following refund policy applies:
- A 100% refund or credit of your registration fee will be issued if a class is canceled by Spanish ABQ.
- A 100% refund or credit (minus a $25 administration fee) will be issued if you cancel your registration more than three full business days** (72 hours) before the class start time. You may call 505-510-0525 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel.
- A 50% refund will be issued if you cancel your registration within one to three full business days (24-72 hours)** before the class start time.
- Our budget is based upon number a minimum number of students in class. Thus, NO REFUNDS will be issued within 24 hours prior to the start of a class or after a class has started, regardless of attendance. No exceptions made. **Business days are Monday through Friday.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING REQUESTS FOR PRIVATE CLASSES ONLY:
All private, semi-private and tutoring sessions can be scheduled at the convenience of the student. We ask you to make the commitment of honoring the number of lessons chosen in advance per month with the option of adding as many more as you need afterward.
Students can change their scheduled lesson time provided that the rescheduling request or cancellation is done 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Failure to give us a 24 hour notice will result in forfeiting your payment for that session.
Keep in mind that if you’ve reserved a specific time/day those classes must be taken within 60 days of the time when you scheduled them. For example: You want to take classes on Tuesdays 4-6 pm every week during the month of October. You started taking classes on October 1st. You got sick and had to cancel one of those Tuesdays (and gave us 24 hours notice) You must take those 2 hours during the month of October or November This is done in fairness to the teacher because they rely on that income for those specific months.
Lateness and Lesson cancellations
We expect all students to be on time for their lessons. If a student is running late, it will be our responsibility to provide the student with whatever time remains – no make up time or extra time will be given. If your instructor is running behind or has to cancel a session, your instructor will notify you as early as possible, through email and/or phone. Your instructor will make up any lesson or time owed to you in the unlikely event the instructor has to cancel.
