Me pongo contento/a

In English we use the verb “get” in many different expressions.  I get happy:  Me pongo contento/a.  I get sad: Me pongo triste. In Spanish we use the verb “to put” when we are talking about emotions/feelings.  You can say that in Spanish we “put on” our feelings! 🙂
